I wanted to post a pictures that shows my readers two things that get me excited about life! I LOVE nature! Listening to birds chirping, smelling fresh crisp fall air (hurry on up & get here), seeing beautiful flowers… trees… mountains…. How can I not be happy when surrounded by beauty?! I LOVE my Lord! Knowing that He paid the ultimate price for ME is beyond my comprehension. Knowing that I am loved and forgiven even when I fall short, warms my heart. This picture is a representation of both! I hope you enjoy it!

Taylor’s Senior Shoot
Posted on August 24, 2010
We ventured out on a very hot morning to shoot Taylor’s Senior pictures. As soon as I saw her, I knew my camera was going to love her! Taylor is a beautiful girl with a great smile and eyes that could melt anyone! The humidity was soaring up by the second so we had to work fast as we hit a number of locations! It didn’t matter where I put Taylor or how she was posed, she looked beautiful! I had a blast shooting Taylor! Here are a few of my favorite images!

Procrastionation
Posted on August 19, 2010
Have you ever procrastinated on what you know you need to do but don’t want to because you know it’s going to be a challenge? Well that’s me and this website. If you’re a fan on Cindy Bayne Photography on Facebook, you’ll find tons of new albums from sittings I’ve had this summer. Do you see them on the web? NOPE! Why not?! Procrastionation. My first few posts weren’t looking the way I wanted. The pictures are thumbnails and the font is tiny. I’ve worked a number of times to figure out how to change these things and just haven’t figured it out. So I gave up.
Well here I am on attempt number 232… or so it seems and I’m DETERMINED to get it done! No more excuses, no more moving it down on the daily priority list!! This post is a test to see if I’ve accomplished two specific things: 1. Increasing the size of the font and 2. Increasing the size of the pictures. If that’s happens in this post, I will be one HAPPY girl!
I’ve selected a photo I took downtown at Reedy last fall. I’m SO ready for this hot humid summer to be behind us and waiting with great anticipation for fall!!

Lake Marion
Posted on July 17, 2010
My family and I had the opportunity to go with a dear friend, Chris, to her sister’s lake home. I could tell from the moment we pulled up that it was going to be a wonderful weekend! Patty, who we’d never met, warmly invited us into her home at a very late hour, offering us a snack and helping us to get settled. We woke early the next morning and headed out to the back screened in porch. The setting was so inviting, I had to sit in a chair and marvel at the view. The well manicured backyard boasted a lake front view, dock and beach with beautiful white sand. Oh boy, this was gonna be a fun weekend. All of a sudden, I was glad that Chris almost insisted we drive up on Friday night.
The “little group” consisted of 22 or so people, mostly Chris’ family and then another friend of ours, Jay, and his kids. It was interesting to see how everyone melded together with ease, as though we had all known eachother for some time. The three little girls ran around together; chasing dogs, painting nails and “fishing” off the dock. The teens somehow managed to keep themselves entertained with water balloons, paddle boats, tanning and bonfires. Grown ups enjoyed the sun, conversation, good food and a cool drinks. On the note of good food, I have to say that I was proud of myself for grilling burgers and dogs for the entire group and not burning one!
Meeting Chris’ family was SO much fun! Time away from life with my own family was awesome! But I’d probably have to say that the highlight of my weekend was my time with Sera. Sera is a 14 year old who has an interest in photography. She and I hung out as I taught her about shutter, appeture, ISO and light meter. Her eyes lit up as I gave her my Nikon D300 and told her to shoot! It was so cool to be able to share my passion with Sera as she was discovering her passion!
I walked away from the weekend reflecting on how blessed I feel. I have an amazing family, great friends, and wonderful new friends. When I really take a hard look at life, it’s apparent that the only thing that REALLY matters in life is our relationships… with our family, our friends and our Lord. And I’d take the relationships in my life over ALL the money and possessions in this world!!

Ryan

When my step-son Ryan, starts his sentence with “I love you”… I know he wants something! Well he sure did! Ryan asked if I’d take his Senior pictures. Well of course I would, but had to play it off as though he was asking me for the world! What do I get out of it?! A night of Ryan cooking dinner and me sitting on the deck relaxing! Now who REALLY won in this deal?! I had so much fun dragging Ryan to all the locations I’ve wanted to try out! I’m proud of the man he has become and can’t wait to see what his future holds! I love you, Ry!!
